Only about 500m from the FHB international airport, the Onomo hotel is one of Abidjan's newest and obviously a handy stop for those just in tranit or who don't want to carry their suitcases very far. There are 118 air-conditioned rooms and 2 conference rooms. The overall feel of the hotel is classy and boutique, though proximity to the airport comes at the cost of being close to much else in Abidjan, though there are big plans to develop this area in the coming years.
One of the oldest hotels in the city, the Grand Hotel may no longer be the most exclusive address, and the road network has now left it in a slightly forgotten part of the Plateau commercial district. But this is a good budget option in the heart of the city. The area gets very quiet in the evenings and at weekends and at these times there's not much in easy reach by foot.
Not to be confused with the other Ibis in town, the Ibis Plateau offers a middle-of-the-road hotel experience, with a central position in the Plateau business district. It's well situated for government meetings in the ministerial towers. The area gets quiet at weekends and evenings, so it's best to get in a taxi if you want to find restaurants and nightlife
