Di Sorrento

Di Sorrento probably falls short of being the best Italian restaurant in Abidjan, but few regret coming here thanks to the welcoming staff, quality cuisine and unusual if attractive surroundings. The tables are outside in the garden of the main house, which is full of a mix of traditional African and Italian artefacts (maps of Italy, statues, bottles of Chianti, Emmanuelle chairs). Guests sit in decorated huts located around a central bar under the main paillote; ideal for romantic couples or families. The portions are generous and the menu has a solid selection of pasta dishes, pizzas, salads and carpaccio, with prices around 6,000 cfa for starters and 6-8,000 cfa for main courses.
